Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 30, 2026
Last updated: September 30, 2026
Policy version: KI-PP-2026-09-30

Kuhns, Inc. respects the privacy of the people who visit our websites, engage our professional services, subscribe to our communications, or use an application or service that links to this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you. “Kuhns, Inc.,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Church Media & Productions, Inc. DBA Kuhns, Inc., a Pennsylvania company.

Scope

This Policy applies to:

  • kuhnsinc.com, kuhns.inc, and other websites operated by Kuhns, Inc. that link to this Policy;
  • Kuhns, Inc. applications, digital products, payment experiences, newsletters, and online services that link to this Policy; and
  • business inquiries and professional-service relationships where Kuhns, Inc. determines why and how personal information is used.

An individual product may provide a short notice at the point where it collects information. That notice supplements this Policy and controls for that specific feature if it says something different.

This Policy does not govern a client’s own website, mailing list, database, or service merely because Kuhns, Inc. designed, manages, or supports it. When we handle personal information solely on a client’s instructions, the client generally determines the purposes and means of processing, and the client’s privacy notice applies. Questions about that information should ordinarily be directed to the client first.

Third-party websites and services have their own privacy practices. This Policy does not cover information a third party collects for its own purposes.

Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us and which service you use.

Information you provide

We may collect:

  • Contact and identity information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, organization, role, mailing address, and account or social-media identifiers.
  • Inquiry and client information, such as your website, team size, budget range, project interests, goals, files, feedback, and other information you include in a form, meeting, proposal, or message.
  • Account and verification information, such as login identifiers, one-time verification records, account settings, permissions, and records showing that an email address or account was verified.
  • Transaction and billing information, such as the product or service purchased, amount, currency, date, payment or invoice status, refund or cancellation status, and limited payment-method details returned by Stripe or QuickBooks, as applicable. We do not ask you to send complete payment-card numbers to us by email or through ordinary contact forms.
  • Content you submit, such as messages, instructions, public notes, artwork or other creative contributions, filenames, attachments, and support requests.
  • Communications, including emails, replies, meeting information, customer-support exchanges, and marketing preferences.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, complete payment-card numbers, medical records, or other highly sensitive information unless a specific service clearly requests it and explains why it is needed.

Information collected automatically

When you visit or use a service, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate location derived from it;
  • device, browser, operating-system, language, and display information;
  • referring pages, pages or features used, timestamps, session information, and diagnostic events;
  • cookie, local-storage, and similar identifiers;
  • security, delivery, error, and fraud-prevention logs; and
  • interaction information needed to apply rate limits, maintain a session, protect a collaborative project, or prevent duplicate or abusive activity.

We use this information to operate, secure, debug, and understand the services. We do not attempt to derive a precise physical location from an IP address.

On kuhnsinc.com only, we use Google services configured through Google Site Kit and Meta Pixel to measure site traffic and interactions. These tools may receive browser and device information, IP address, page URLs, referring information, timestamps, cookie or similar identifiers, and interaction events. They are not installed on our other application websites unless a notice for that site states otherwise.

Information from other people and services

We may receive information from:

  • a person who uses a service to communicate or transact with you;
  • a client that asks us to perform work on its behalf;
  • Stripe, QuickBooks, and our identity, email-delivery, hosting, analytics, and security providers;
  • an account or platform you choose to connect; and
  • publicly available professional or organizational sources when relevant to an inquiry or business relationship.

If you provide another person’s information, you are responsible for having authority to do so and for giving them any notice required by law. A service may also send that person a direct notice when their information first enters the service.

How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

  • provide, personalize, and maintain requested websites, applications, products, and professional services;
  • create and administer accounts, verify users or recipients, and remember settings;
  • deliver communications and perform other actions you request;
  • process payments, invoices, refunds, subscriptions, and related records;
  • display content that you deliberately submit for public display;
  • communicate about an inquiry, project, transaction, account, service change, or security issue;
  • send marketing communications when permitted, and record your preferences or unsubscribe request;
  • provide support, investigate errors, and improve reliability, usability, accessibility, and performance;
  • prevent spam, fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, and other harmful activity;
  • enforce our agreements, establish or defend legal claims, comply with law, and respond to lawful requests; and
  • create aggregated or de-identified information that is not reasonably capable of identifying a person, and use it for lawful business analysis and service improvement.

We do not use private message content or payment and billing data for cross-context behavioral advertising or to train general-purpose artificial-intelligence models. If a feature uses an artificial-intelligence provider to process user content, the feature will disclose that use before the content is submitted and will identify any choices available to you.

Product-Specific Practices

The following provisions apply when the named or described service is launched and links to this Policy. A service that does not collect a listed category does not begin collecting it merely because the category appears here.

Kuhns, Inc. website, inquiries, and professional services

Our main website collects the information you submit through contact and project-inquiry forms, including contact details, organization and website information, team size, project interests, budget range, goals, and free-form messages. We use it to evaluate and respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, administer engagements, and maintain business records.

In client work, we may encounter personal information contained in mailing lists, customer-relationship systems, project files, or communications. When we process that information on a client’s instructions, we use it to deliver the agreed services and not for our own independent marketing.

Newsletters and marketing

If you subscribe to a newsletter or request updates, we use your email address and related subscription information to send them and understand delivery and engagement. You can unsubscribe through the link in a marketing email or by contacting us. We may still send non-marketing messages about an active transaction, account, security issue, or service you requested.

Payments and billing

We use Stripe for online transactions, including checkout, and QuickBooks for billing professional services. Stripe and QuickBooks collect and process payment or billing information under their own privacy policies. We generally receive transaction or invoice identifiers, payment status, amount, currency, billing details, limited payment-method details, dispute information, and other records needed to administer the transaction or service engagement. We use those records for fulfillment, accounting, fraud prevention, refunds, disputes, and legal compliance.

We do not store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes in our application databases. Do not send those details to us by email.

Collaborative art services

Collaborative art services may allow people to create, fund, sponsor, claim, modify, layer, or otherwise contribute to a shared creative work or related public record. Depending on the service, we may process submitted content, contribution details, placement or sequence information, timestamps, purchase records, names or identifiers selected for display, IP addresses, device or session identifiers, and rate-limit or moderation records to operate the project, record contributions, attribute participation where requested, and prevent abuse.

Information submitted for public display should be treated as public. It may be viewed, copied, indexed, photographed, archived, modified through later contributions, or redistributed by other people. Do not submit private, confidential, or highly sensitive information. We may remove, restrict, or preserve content and related evidence as allowed by the applicable terms for safety, moderation, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. Deleting our copy may not remove copies held by others or independent archives.

Future services

Before a new service collects a materially different category of personal information or uses information for a materially different purpose, we will update this Policy or provide a product-specific notice and obtain consent when required. Linking a future service to this Policy does not authorize undisclosed data use.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use:

  • Essential technologies for security, network routing, verification, fraud prevention, sessions, preferences, payment processing, billing, and requested features.
  • Measurement technologies on kuhnsinc.com to understand traffic, interactions, delivery, errors, and aggregate use. Google services configured through Google Site Kit and Meta Pixel may set or read cookies and similar identifiers for these purposes.
  • Embedded-content technologies when a page includes media or functionality supplied by another service.

Information collected through measurement tools on kuhnsinc.com may be used to understand and improve that website and to measure the effectiveness of communications or advertising. We do not combine private application content or payment and billing data with those tools for advertising.

Where law requires consent for a nonessential technology, we will request it before activating that technology. Browser settings can restrict cookies, although doing so may prevent parts of a service from working. If we engage in an activity that applicable law treats as a sale or sharing requiring recognition of an opt-out preference signal, we will honor supported signals as required by law.

We do not sell personal information for money.

How We Share Information

We may disclose personal information:

  • To service providers and contractors that perform hosting, infrastructure, security, email delivery, customer communications, analytics, payment processing, billing, accounting, file storage, and support. Depending on the service, these providers may include Cloudflare, Stripe, QuickBooks, Google, Kit, Meta, our website-hosting providers, and professional advisers. They receive information only for the relevant function and are subject to contractual or legal obligations.
  • At your direction or with your consent, including when you connect an account, share content, ask us to route information, or submit information for public display.
  • To clients, when we collect or handle information on a client’s behalf or need to return project records to that client.
  • For legal and safety reasons, when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; protect people, rights, property, or services; investigate fraud or abuse; or enforce an agreement.
  • In a business transaction, such as a financing, reorganization, acquisition, merger, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice where required.

We may disclose aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify a person. We will not attempt to reidentify information that we maintain as de-identified, except to test whether de-identification measures work or as permitted by law.

Legal Bases for Processing

Where a law requires us to identify a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:

  • Contract: processing needed to provide a service you request, administer an account or transaction, or take steps at your request before entering an agreement.
  • Legitimate interests: operating and improving the services, responding to inquiries, securing systems, preventing fraud, keeping appropriate business records, and communicating with professional contacts, where those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
  • Consent: optional marketing, nonessential cookies, connected-account permissions, public attribution, or another use for which we specifically ask permission. You may withdraw consent, but withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.
  • Legal obligation: tax, accounting, regulatory, recordkeeping, and lawful-request obligations.

We document the basis appropriate to each processing purpose. If we need to use personal information for a materially new and incompatible purpose, we will provide notice and obtain consent where required.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to provide a service, maintain security and continuity, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal, tax, accounting, or reporting obligations.

Retention depends on the type of information:

  • inquiry records are generally kept while an opportunity is active and for a reasonable follow-up period;
  • client and project records are kept for the engagement and an appropriate business and legal recordkeeping period;
  • account and configuration information is kept while the account is active and for a limited wind-down or backup period;
  • transaction, tax, and accounting records are generally kept for seven years and may be kept longer if law or an unresolved dispute requires it;
  • security, verification, rate-limit, and diagnostic logs are kept for the shortest period reasonably useful for security and reliability;
  • newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe or the list is retired, with a minimal suppression record retained so we can respect the unsubscribe request;
  • public contributions may be retained for the life of the public project or as an archival record, subject to applicable law and the service’s terms.

Information may persist for a limited period in encrypted backups and disaster-recovery systems. We may retain information longer when required by law, litigation hold, chargeback, fraud investigation, or a request to preserve evidence. When retention ends, we delete, anonymize, or securely isolate the information.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the service. These may include access controls, encrypted transmission, provider security controls, least-privilege permissions, logging, backups, and separation between public and restricted systems.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for using an appropriate channel when sending confidential information. If you believe a service or account has been compromised, contact us promptly.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • know whether we process your personal information and obtain access to it;
  • receive information about the categories, sources, purposes, and recipients of personal information;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • request deletion;
  • receive a portable copy of information you provided;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • withdraw consent;
  • opt out of marketing communications;
  • opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling if we ever engage in an activity covered by those rights; and
  • appeal a denial of a privacy request where applicable.

Kuhns, Inc. does not discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable privacy right.

To make a request, email privacy@kuhns.inc with the subject line “Privacy request.” Describe the service involved and the right you wish to exercise. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. We will use verification information only to handle the request. An authorized agent may submit a request where law permits, but we may ask for proof of authority and direct verification from the person concerned.

Some information cannot be deleted or disclosed because of legal obligations, security, another person’s rights, confidential business information, or technical limitations permitted by law. If we deny a request, we will explain the reason and any available appeal process.

If Kuhns, Inc. holds information solely for a client, we may direct your request to that client or assist the client in responding.

Children’s Privacy

The services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. Payment-enabled and account-based services are intended for adults unless the applicable terms clearly state otherwise. If you believe a child has provided personal information contrary to this section, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

International Users

Kuhns, Inc. is based in Pennsylvania, United States. If you use a service from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws different from the laws where you live.

Where required, we use an approved transfer mechanism or another lawful basis for international transfers. People in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other jurisdictions may have the rights described above and may lodge a complaint with their local data-protection authority. We ask that you contact us first so we have an opportunity to address the concern.

Automated Processing

We may use automated rules to verify a required action, detect spam or fraud, enforce contribution or traffic limits, and protect the services. We do not use solely automated processing to make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy as our services, vendors, and legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date and policy version identify the current text. If a change materially expands how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice and obtain consent when required. Prior versions may be requested by contacting us.
